QUESTIONS FOR THE SECOND IDOL:
I want everybody to be on equal footing with me today so you don't feel like you have no shot at the last-chance idol.
1)
Hint 1:
I can be green or brown
But in between I am yellow which is what people prefer.
What am I?
Answer: A banana.
2)
Hint 2:
This looks normal, but this paragraph is not normal. It looks normal, but it isn’t. It contains sound grammar, but it is not normal. What is not normal about it?
I answered 'capital letters' (all the normal things had capital letters but the 'not normal' words didn't). This is incorrect.
The real answer--I think--is simpler yet: There is no letter 'e' in the paragraph at all.

FIRST IDOL QUESTIONS:
I feel bad, because I got impatient and missed an easy chance at the idol. But I think I can get it.
Here are the clues and answers so far:
1.
You have important files which you must send to a secret agent. You have multiple boxes and each box has multiple places to put locks. You and the agent also have multiple locks with their corresponding key. However the agent does not have any keys to your locks and vice versa. If you send the keys in an unlocked box, a copy of those keys could be made. You may send multiple boxes, but each time a box with the files must be sent. How can you make sure that your files will stay secure?
A:
Put the files in a box and send them with a lock.
He puts another lock on the box and sends it back.
You unlock and take off your lock and send it back.
He unlocks his lock and takes the files.
2.
I lay with my back against the ground
One thousand feet in the air
What am I?
A:
Serious answer: Overturned millipede.
Funny answer: Five hundred prostitutes.
3.
Only you matter in this challenge:
You are stranded on a desert island.
You make camp at one of the trees on the beach. Although you are not sure that it will rain,
You are sure that you need to come up with a number.
That number is the answer to this riddle.
A:
I guessed '13' ('one tree') because I couldn't be arsed to wait for the answer to the question 'does the "Only you matter in this challenge" line matter', like an idiot.
The real answer should be 5 (5 'yous' in the phrase).
5 (the number of 'yous' in the sentence after the colon).
