NOTE: I'm not going to be here to jump on it right away, so you guys need to be watching out for it...
Post it up here and let's solve it fast. We may or may not be "one tribe" tonight, so we want team immunity.

Here's the riddle:
Seventh Team Immunity Challenge
You arrive at the challenge and you see this:
matter, tells hat, lasers, ______, aloof. What belongs in the blank?

Hrm. Important to note that "tells hat" is not seperated by a comma- I didn't notice this right away.
I'm not seeing anything in common between the 4 things mentioned right now.

except that the substitution seems to be 4 letters each time, and you've got only 3 going into "looser".
Lessee...
lasers - respools?
I'll try that.

Also, the following:
Each term has a letter that appears twice in it. 'Tells hat' might be 'Tell's hat', or an apple.

I don't think thats gonna work either since respools doesn't have 4 in aloof

matter -> tells hat (atte) (double t) tells hat -> lasers (lase) (double s) lasers -> _______ (?) (double ?) _____ -> aloof (?) (double o)
Need a word that meets the following criteria:
1) Has 'loof', 'aloo', 'alof', or 'aoof' 2) Has 'lase', 'lare', 'lars', or 'lass' 3) Has a double letter 4) As short as possible
So far, I have 'falsehood'.

I'm submitting this:
matter => tells hat = 4 letters tells hat => lasers = 4 letters lasers => foolers = 4 letters foolers => aloof = 4 letters
Each word has exactly 4 letters from the word/term before it and contributes 4 letters to the word/term following it

What do you think Tux?

Possibly 5) Should not have the double letter from the previous word, which would invalidate 'falsehood'.

Oh, right, 4 letters to pass is the general rule. I don't think 'foolers' is a word but that's the right idea.

And foolers, dammit I shouldn't have said anything about the double letter

Bah, I think it is
Can't fool the fooler
can't fool the foolers
Why not!? D:
