You see a bunch of letters on the floor arranged in a pattern. “You may remove one letter and yet it will still be complete. Which letter?”

I'm going for the pick-up line answer.
"Either U or I, Because baby, the alphabet would still be complete when U and I are one"

I'll have to print it out and stare at it for a while to figure out if there's a logical rule to the pattern.

I could think it might be something stupid like "D" because "Completed without a D is still Complete"

A letter that can be made by tracing the alphabet grid with that letter missing? (Maybe a letter on the bottom so that the grid goes 5x5.)

tux has it.
Remove the Q in the middle.
The remaining letters form a Q.
Edit: I sent it in. We should keep pondering in case I'm wrong, though.

Note: If you guys want to send me back to the island (it's okay to do that, yes?), I feel pretty confident about getting the idol out of there. I don't know how many clues there are, but there can't be that many more, and it might be worth sacrificing a person now to save one later (I assume the idol can be transferred freely amongst ourselves at council).

Q's probably correct.
If we want to win this one, we need to all send it in--however, it's not impossible that their exile will pick up the idol.

If Q is correct, do you think it means anything that the answer to the first two challenges were both Q/ueue?

Well, I'm going to hope that Probst just couldn't contain himself and had a good laugh out of the coincidence. Another 'Q' puzzle tomorrow would signify either narrow vision or a big hint towards some larger puzzle.
Any opinions on exile?

Funny about that, Locus. Keep an eye out for future riddles, I suppose. Chances are it was just coincidence, though.
If we lose, I'm all for sending you back to give it another go, tux.

I'm pretty sure that Q is the correct answer. Nice work locus and tux.
I really need to adjust my way of thinking to be able to solve these puzzles. I was going all "OK I'll convert the letters to numbers and see if the sum of each row is a prime number or something".

You guys do realize that you get 1 answer per person, and the tribe wins together. So five of you sending the same answer is wasting submissions.

Right. The OP says most correct answer, not most correct answerS. We should still be thinking of possible solutions.

Hey guys, sorry for not being much help, I've been away at interviews. For what it's worth, I've got a new job, so I can quit looking around and focus on what's really important: Forum games!
